I would like for more of us to identify with the spirit of community, that it's Fun when we celebrate one another's differences no matter how electic or strange, that we embrace differences liberal/conservative, PETA/Meat Eaters, etc. We disagree sure but we have each others backs. It's what happens for me in my co-op I'm in the military and stationed all over the world, but my neighbors (we sometimes argue) but they are always checking up on me and they'll let me know if there's a problem with my....home. So I'm not even there and I'm a part of my community that is our Norfolk. (p.s. + Add more Mermaids, the visitors that come to Norfolk tell me they love my little "Mermaid city." Maybe we could even use the Mermaids to send our message that Norfolk is a place to celebrate diversity, our differences, we could have a democratic Mermaid and a republican Mermaid lol)
