Nye County Public Communications
Nye County's's public communications are managed by the Public Information Office. County staff strive to increase public awareness, interest, understanding of and participation in county issues through the accurate exchange of information to all those who may have an interest in the County's issues, programs, and services: residents, business owners, visitors, other members of the general public, and the media, as well as to County employees, leadership, and elected officials.
County staff share information through a variety of communication channels and tools, including, but not limited to:
- The Nye County website at www.nyecounty.net
- Social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
- Press releases and feature stories
- Video promotions and stories
- Video coverage/broadcast of meetings
