Provide your input to help shape the future of Auburn State Recreation Area (Auburn SRA).
California State Parks (CSP) and the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation are preparing a General Plan/Resource Management Plan (GP/RMP) that will guide the long-term management of Auburn State Recreation Area (SRA) and the Auburn Project Lands (APL). Four draft alternatives were released for public review in late 2017. The input received on these draft alternatives was considered during modifications to the draft alternatives and selection of the CSP proposed action. The CSP proposed action is now available for your review. This questionnaire gives you an online opportunity to provide your thoughts, questions and concerns about the future of the unit. Your responses will be considered during preparation of the GP/RMP document and the environmental review process.
The GP/RMP document will include park-wide goals and guidelines. Please click here or on the box below to open up a new tab which summarizes the park-wide topics. You can come back to answer the question later if you wish to review the more detailed proposals in the management zones first.
The GP/RMP divides the Auburn SRA into 11 different management zones with proposals for each zone. Please review the management zones map below. You have the option to learn about and provide feedback on proposals in as many management zones as you would like. Click on the name of the management zone below the map to provide feedback. Each box will open a new window with details about that management zone.
Estimate to complete is about 30 minutes. Thank you for your time and input!
