Issaquah Storm and Surface Water Master Plan
Issaquah is developing a storm and surface water master plan to protect the water quality and habitat of local creeks, Lake Sammamish, and Puget Sound by investing in drainage infrastructure and riparian and stream habitat restoration.
Your knowledge of flooding, creeks, and fish habitat in your neighborhood will help us know where to focus our efforts.
In Issaquah, have you seen street or stream flooding, a blocked culvert, habitat loss in a creek, or a likely source of pollution in a creek or in Lake Sammamish? We would like to know! We invite you to answer these questions and map it.
Also, if you or your neighbors would like to meet with our City’s engineers to discuss a stormwater problem, please reach out to Senior Engineer, Allen Quynn, to schedule.
