  • What do you like about this design and park elements?

I love that there will be natural plants and trees for shade and asthetics.

  • What is missing, or could be improved, in this design?

Including plans for the ground, such as soft beauty bark to spread along walk ways.

  • What do you like about this design and park elements?

I like that there would be more space for dogs to run in circles freely and better visibility. The plaza for people gathering would be great too.

In this concept, the City would build the dog park site as shown with available funding and no community build or donations.

Concept A has the lowest amount of change to the existing site. The majority of the site would stay as is, with the exception of surfaced walking paths. Native plants and some invasive species would remain. Remaining invasive plants would be removed and areas replanted with future volunteer efforts. The unclassified wetland in the middle of the site would be fenced off. An estimated 11 trees (most are dead/dying Alders) would be removed from the site.

The amenity special to Concept A is:

  • Logs for sitting
