Please help us plan the future of Waterloo Region transportation by telling us about your choices and attitudes!
We want to learn about how you get around (i.e. mode of transportation) in Waterloo Region, and your attitudes towards different modes of transportation. The Region of Waterloo is undertaking a survey to study the behaviour and attitudes of its residents towards various modes of transportation.
The outcome from this survey will help the Region identify and develop policies and projects to meet its transportation needs over the next 25 years. These include where and how to invest in Regional roads, traffic controls, public transit service, cycling and walking facilities, and the management of travel demand.
The survey should take about 5-10 minutes to complete. There are no risks in completing this survey. Your anonymous responses will be kept confidential and used only to create a general understanding of Region trends. You may withdraw from this survey at any time.
This survey has also been launched by Northstar, a survey research firm hired by the Region to collect a responses from a statistically representative sample of residents within the Region. You do not need to complete this survey here if you have already been contacted by Northstar to complete it over the phone or online.
We truly appreciate your time and cooperation. Please read and answer each question to the best of your ability.
If you have any questions specific to the survey or about Moving Forward (the Region's Transportation Master Plan update), please contact Geoffrey Keyworth by e-mail, by phone at 519-575-4089 or TTY 519-575-4608.
