Overall, how satisfied are you with Metro’s north Eastside service today?
Somewhat satisfied
How concerned are you that March 2019 changes may make the transit service you use slower or less reliable?
Somewhat concerned
How will March 2019 changes affect your transit use?
My transit use will not be impacted by these changes.
How would adding or improving connections to future BRT or Link light rail impact your transit use?
I will use transit more than I do now.
How would taking no further action after March 2019 (Option A for no change or additional improvements) affect your transit use?
I will use transit less than I do now
Care to share additional information about March 2019 changes, or opportunities to improve connections to light rail, BRT, or local destinations? (Optional)
I am concerned about the closure of the Montlake freeway station, and I am concerned that the 255 will be less reliable and less frequent if it continues to go downtown.
If transit is more convenient, I will take it more.
You've got 10 dots to 'spend'. Based on community mobility priorities, help us decide how much to invest in each priority when making improvements to north Eastside service. (Spend as many or as few dots on each option until they are gone)
Invest in making service to, from, and within the north Eastside reliable and dependable (2)
Invest in offering service more often throughout the day, later into the evening, and every day of the week (6)
Invest in improving transfers and connections to and within the north Eastside (2)
You've got 10 dots to 'spend'. Based on the improvements proposed below to add frequency and extend hours, which best address mobility needs and priorities in the north Eastside? (Spend as many or as few dots on each improvement as desired until they are gone)
More frequent evening service on Route 255 (Totem Lake - Kirkland - UW Seattle) and new Route 250 (Redmond to Kirkland) (4)
More frequent weekend service on Route 255 and new Route 239 (4)
Extended weekend evening hours of service on Route 255 and new Routes 225 (Kenmore - Totem Lake - Overlake), 230, 231 and 239 (2)
How will these evening and weekend service improvements affect your transit use?
I will use transit more than I do now.
Is there anything else you would like to share about weekend and evening transit services?
I'd like more evening/weekend service on the 245.
If Route 255 is reoriented to UW Station instead of downtown Seattle, do you support changing Routes 540 and 541 to create a new route that would instead provide direct connections between Overlake, South Kirkland P&R, north Downtown Seattle, and South Lake Union?
Yes
If you do not support changing Routes 540 and 541 if Route 255 is reoriented, please provide feedback on why.
The new route should not serve South Kirkland P&R. That detour is too long for through-riders and too clogged with cars. Most people coming on a bus will be on the 255 and can transfer at Evergreen point. The park & ride is already full with 255 riders. I'd rather spend the service hours on more/extended frequency.

Direct connection to the UW Link Station for trips into Downtown Seattle that are faster and more reliable (5)
Service every 15 minutes between Downtown Kirkland and Redmond Town Center weekdays on Route 250 (5)
How will these frequency and reliability service improvements affect your transit use?
I will use transit more than I do now
How would moving the future Route 225 in Kenmore to serve new stops along Juanita Drive NE instead of serving the current stops along NE 153rd / NE 155th, and 84th Ave NE impact your transit use?
I will use transit the same that I do now
Is there anything else you would like to share about dependability for transit services?
Don't use transit money on car infrastructure. e.g. right turn lane at Old Redmond Rd/148th Ave. Transit money should be for transit use only. Otherwise you'll just induce more traffic and eventually the car lane will fill up and the bus will still be stuck in traffic.
You've got 10 dots to 'spend'. Based on the improvements proposed below to make service more convenient to use, with coordinated transfers, which best address mobility needs and priorities in the north Eastside? (Spend as many or as few dots on each improvement as desired until they are gone)
Street and bus stop improvements at the UW Link Station for an easier transfer to Route 255 (10)
How will these convenience and ease of use service improvements affect your transit use?
I will use transit more than I do now
What appeals to you about Community Ride? (check all that apply)
Nothing.
What concerns do you have about Community Ride? (check all that apply)
Other - I am concerned that it will cost too much and take resources from fixed route service.
How likely are you to try Community Ride?
Very unlikely
Is there anything else you would like to share about convenience and ease of use for transit services?
More convenient for me would be for my regular routes to be more frequent, and for bike parking to be available at my bus stops. Community Ride will not make transit more convenient for me.
You've got 10 dots to 'spend'. Based on the proposed improved connections to schools and local destinations, which best address mobility needs and priorities in the north Eastside? (Spend as many or as few dots on each improvement as desired until they are gone)
More direct connections between Downtown Kenmore, Kingsgate P&R, Lake Washington Institute of Technology, and Overlake Transit Center on new Route 225 (5)
More direct connection between UW Bothell/Cascadia College and Downtown Kirkland on Route 230 (5)
How will these access improvements affect your transit use?
I will use transit the same that I do now
Is there anything else you would like to share about access to local destinations for transit services?
None of these destinations are important to me. I don't think the ridership is there to make them worthwhile. The exception is the schools: UWB and LWTC need service, but since they draw from all over they need a quick connection to a good transfer point. I don't see much ridership from Bastyr - it's too far from Juanita Dr
What appeals to you about Community Van? (check all that apply)
Nothing about Community Van appeals to me.
