    I support this amendment

  • Do you have any comments about Vashon Rural Town Affordable Housing Special District Overlay?

    I agree with some that the 80% of AMI is too high and should be 60%. I think that the bonus density for affordable housing should extend to all parcels in the rural town area subject to some consideration of the opinions of immediate neighbors. I also think that all affordable housing from here on should be built by non profits such as Vashon Household and should be managed as part of the Roseballen Community Landtrust so that the affordable rents will remain in perpetuity.

    This area should remain as is. We must do whatever we can to prohibit car oriented strip commercial.
