Provo City residents are encouraged to provide input on new development within the city. We value our residents' opinion and ideas. Your input assists staff in ensuring that all viewpoints are heard and to make them aware of concerns as well as what residents see as a match to the City's vision.

Citywide impact
An ordinance text amendment is being requested to reduce the minimum lot depth from 90 feet to 75 feet for low density residential and very low density residential zones. The applicant states this would harmonize the LDR/VLDR lot-depth requirements with the original intent of the R1.6 and R1.7 zoning descriptions and further the purposes and character of R1 zoning designations in general.
Exempt from neighborhood meeting requirement. Staff reviews have been completed and the application is scheduled for the August 12 Planning Commission meeting. It will then go to a City Council meeting for a final decision.
