Franklin Neighborhood - What do you think about the request to rezone and subdivide a lot to be used for two single-family residences?
Provo City residents are encouraged to provide input on new development within the city. We value our residents' opinion and ideas. Your input assists staff in ensuring that all viewpoints are heard and to make them aware of concerns as well as what residents see as a match to the City's vision.
Developer/Applicant
Jeffrey Rands
Project address
189 South 500 West (Franklin Neighborhood)
Description
Jeffrey Rands is requesting a zone change from residential conservation to very low density residential, and concept plan approval, to subdivide a 0.25 acre lot to create two approximately 5,000 square foot lots located at 189 South 500 West.
If these applications are approved, it would pave the way for establishment of two lots which the applicant states would be developed for single-family residences. With an area of 5,000 square feet, each lot would only qualify for a single-family detached dwelling. The result of approving these applications would be the potential for one additional lot at 189 South 500 West.
