Us BYU students only follow parking rules when it’s convenient. If I’m a BYU student and the guest parking is open, I’m gonna park there. This stuff happens every day with campus parking lots. Risk and Reward, and usually the risk isn’t as severe as the perceived reward
Do you have any other suggestions about how to improve on-street parking in the Joaquin Neighborhood?
Apartment complexes need to be held to higher standards of accommodation to parking. I’ve lived down there, and it is not possible for everyone who has a car to have parking at their residence. There shouldn’t be a default option to just park on the street in the first place. It is wholly up to the landlords to provide that on their property. Either Provo is lax about enforcement of reasonable accommodation or landlords just get away with it. Never living south of campus again
