Provost South Neighborhood - What do you think about the proposed zone change to build a twin home?
Provo City residents are encouraged to provide input on new development within the city. We value our residents' opinions and ideas. Your input assists staff in ensuring that all viewpoints are heard and to make them aware of concerns as well as what residents see as a match to the City's vision.
1220 East 960 South
Stephen Sowby requests a Zone Map Amendment from the R1.8 (One Family Residential) zone and the RC (Residential Conservation) zone to the LDR (Low Density Residential) zone in order to build a twin home, located at 1220 East 960 South in the Provost South Neighborhood.
The applicant and Council Staff were unable to get in contact with the Neighborhood Chair or vice chair to schedule a neighborhood meeting. The application is under review by various Provo City departments and is scheduled be heard by the Planning Commission on October 26. Because it is a zone change, it will also need to be heard by the Provo City Council. That meeting is scheduled for November 1.
