As a resident of the Provost neighborhood, I think a parking permit program is very needed in this area. The homes were not designed to accommodate the number of car-owning residents, and consequently travel is oftentimes difficult around Slate Canyon drive. In addition, as a cyclist and runner accessing Bonneville Shore Line Trail and Slate Canyon, the high number of parked cars overflowing on the street has made biking and running more dangerous. I strongly support the implementation of a parking permit program for the benefit of the neighborhood community.
