Wells Fargo has $2 trillion in assets. Despite its past and developing scandals, Wells Fargo reports $5.5 billion in net income for the first quarter of 2017. Wells Fargo serves one in three households in the U.S., including mine and many of my friends'. As citizens we are largely helpless against the Trump administration's benighted policies on financial regulation, taxation, and environmental protection. But we can at least make sure that our own dollars do not continue to fund not only criminal banking practices but irresponsible investments in oil and gas that will continue to degrade our planet.
