Share your input on Griffing Boulevard Rose Garden Park improvements
The City of Asheville and the Grove Park Sunset Mountain Neighborhood Association are working together to plan improvements to the Griffing Boulevard Rose Garden Park. A master site plan for the park is currently under way, led by a landscape architecture firm and a steering committee that includes neighborhood association members and nearby park neighbors to explore park improvement options.
The steering committee hosted a Dec. 7 public meeting during which two initial park concepts were presented and discussed. We are presenting those concepts here for online comment.
The rendering shown above represents the rose garden in its current form, with comments on maintenance issues.

Once all input has been received, the design consultant will incorporate the input into a final design concept. Staff will then get construction cost estimates. The design concept will be posted on the North Asheville Park Improvements webpage at a later date.
