Sort by:
The location. Its close to everything. The location, the size, the community. I love the excellent leaf collection program. The city employees are exceptional! The Police Division is very professional, friendly, and fun to work with. The Upper Arlington Labor Day Arts Festival. I spend all day there...ALL day! the variety of programs and events offered I love that you are asking these questions! Safe and most needs can be met within the community I love UA for its safe, beautiful neighborhoods and its great location. I don't have to battle traffic and have a minimal/nonexistent commute. The schools are solid and the emergency services are outstanding. UA is well located in Central Ohio. All of its citizens can easily access nearby highly rated education, entertainment and work opportunities. UA has public and private resources and services, or is very close to same, which enables all age groups to enjoy a healthy, invigorating and wonderful life. I love Old Arlington in particular with the old houses with character and all of the large trees. I love the sidewalks for walking. I love the library system and schools. The clay tennis courts at Northam Park - and the excellent tennis lessons for youth at Northam Park that are reasonably priced with outstanding instructors. I love the neat and clean neigborhoods, and the fact that traffic is fairly calm. The libraries are excellent. The police and fire departments are very helpful. I love that people are renovating their homes as needed, and that there is pride in our beautiful community. The excellent schools and the proximity to downtown Columbus. UA is a great community for raising a family. A warm nice small town feel to city with great amenities and easy access to freeway & downtown. I was raised in UA and left for 30 yrs and came back and I love that it hasn't changed much. We always called it the bubble but for me that really means there is no major roadways going thru it. You have to want to get there! I was unhappy to hear there was talk about the A to Z connector as I feel it would bring unwanted traffic and crime to the area. I love how patriotic it is and the 4th of July celebrations are like no other place in the country. I love that people may leave but they always come back because it is HOME! I was born and raised in UA, and have so many wonderful memories of the traditions, my favorite being 4th of July. I am now raising my own children here, and cherish the fact that they will also share in these same traditions. The history and community feeling of UA continues to grow stronger!
