Good Afternoon – Please be aware that the City’s Site and Architectural Review Committee (SARC)—consisting of two Planning Commissioners—will be reviewing the proposed In-N-Out Burger project at its meeting of April 23rd, starting at 6:00 PM in the Doetsch Conference Room at City Hall. This meeting will generally focus on the architecture and site layout of the proposed project. The agenda and staff memorandum can be viewed online at: https://www.ci.campbell.ca.us/AgendaCenter/ViewFile/Agenda/_04232019-1897
Note that the SARC will not discuss traffic, the Environmental Impact Report (EIR), or any operational or land use issues associated with the proposal. The SARC is charged with solely reviewing the site and architectural characteristics of the project and to advise the Planning Commission on those matters. Since the SARC meeting precedes the regularly scheduled Planning Commission meeting staring at 7:30 PM, public comment will be accepted only if the SARC’s discussion concludes before 7:15 PM. If no time remains for public comment, you may email me directly at email@example.com if you have questions or comments on the architecture and/or site layout of the project. You may also speak at the Planning Commission public hearing, which is tentatively scheduled for June 25th.
As a courtesy, if you plan to attend the SARC meeting, please inform me prior to the meeting so that we can establish an anticipated head count. The Doetsch Room has a limited capacity, but if necessary, we can relocate the meeting to the City Council Chambers alcove to accommodate a greater number of attendees.
