Where should HOH be located in Flagstaff?
This survey should take you about 15 minutes to complete. This is the fourth of four topics that break out a part of the draft High Occupancy Housing (HOH) Plan and solicit your feedback.
HOH is currently allowed as a property right in most of the commercial zones within the City of Flagstaff (blue area on map). The Regional Plan, as it is currently written, supports new areas for HOH in all of the activity centers (dots and circles) on the Future Growth Illustration. Public feedback has been clear that the community does not want HOH development now or in the future in all of these locations. The draft HOH Plan provided some ideas for changing policies and codes to limit where and how HOH is permitted in the future. This survey will help evaluate the feedback and ideas received from the public and will influence the content of the final HOH Plan.
The City of Flagstaff released a draft High Occupancy Housing Plan for a 60-day public review, that ended on September 27, 2017. Staff is working on presenting an updated draft based on comments received for a Citizen's Review Session on November 8th at 4pm at City Hall. The Planning and Zoning Commission and the City Council will both be present for this meeting to hear your comments.
