Let us know if you participate in or watch council meetings. If not, why not? How could we make council meetings more accessible?
Palm Desert City Council is looking for your feedback about the timing of and access to Council meetings to ensure that all of the community can conveniently participate in our local government.
ABOUT THE MEETINGS:
The Palm Desert City Council meets the second and fourth Thursday of every month, with a few seasonal exceptions, to conduct the City’s business. The Council meets in closed session at 3 p.m. and begins its open public session at 4 p.m.
Meetings can last for several hours, but typically take less than two. Council meetings are live streamed online and can be accessed live and after the meeting via the City’s website – www.cityofpalmdesert.org.
Each meeting is recorded on video with indexing by agenda item so that residents and other interested members of the public can conveniently view the Council’s discussion about and action on the topics that concern them.
Thank you very much for your time and participation in the following brief survey.
