What infrastructure project idea would you like to see in the next 5 fiscal year Capital Improvement Plan (FY2020 - FY2024)?
The City of Manhattan Beach is gathering input from the community on potential Capital Improvement Projects for the City's Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) process.
The CIP is a planning tool used to prioritize 5 years of infrastructure projects and their funding citywide. The CIP is developed in cooperation with all City departments, the City Council, and the public. For the FY2020-2024 plan, we are performing public outreach in a new way, through this Open City Hall format. To learn more about what projects are currently on the plan, please click here to view the current Capital Improvement Plan update page.
Although the 5 year scope is reviewed by City Council, the Council only appropriates funds for the CIP one year at a time through the annual budget adoption. If you have an idea for an infrastructure project you'd like to see placed on the CIP in the next 5 fiscal years, please complete this online survey. City Staff will evaluate each suggestion for feasibility, timeline and available funding. For project ideas that focus on more of a maintenance issue, the item may be placed in the City's work order system for completion. Thank you in advance for your input!
