Atherton Council is exploring regulations surrounding small unmanned aircraft systems (sUAS) also known as "drones." The Federal Government allows local agencies to regulate drone activity for non-commercial activity below a certain elevation (typically 400 feet).
Community feedback is welcome, specifically covering issues related to privacy and noise.
Council discussed a flat ban on all drone activity then considered how drones are used by children, or wedding photographers, etc. Help ensure that any regulations adopted are fair.
Please take a moment to tell us what you think.
