What priorities would you like to see the City Council adopt for 2015-2018?
The City Council is seeking to review its priorities for the year at their Annual Retreat in 2015. A Council priority is a project or issue that will receive particular attention during the coming three years using Town resources - funding and/or time and attention. The Council is seeking to identify the top 3 priorities - each with the potential for success in the next years.
Priorities in the past have included:
- reduction of long-term liabilities
- restructuring of town services
- adoption of a Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan
- creation of a Drainage Master Plan
- restoration of Park events and programs
- re-focus on Park maintenance and upkeep
Suggestions and feedback will be incorporated into the information that the City Council considers at its retreat later in 2015. There is no deadline yet set for this topic, but the City Manager will be sharing initial community responses with the Council in April. Responses after that date and leading into the 2015 Council retreat will continue to be important.
