The City of Sunnyvale is conducting a Caltrain Grade Separation Feasibility Study to examine options for separating the road and railroad at Mary Avenue. This project is being considered to improve the safety at railway crossings, enhance pedestrian and bicycle access, reduce vehicle delays, and reduce noise impacts.
There are five preliminary alternatives under consideration for the Mary Avenue site. More information on potential property, cost and traffic impacts for each concept can be found at the project webpage: https://sunnyvale.ca.gov/business/projects/caltrain.htm. Please take some time to review the presentation materials from August 10 (under Documents) before completing this survey.
We would like to get your input on the preliminary alternatives. Along with cost and feasibility analysis, this survey will help us to shortlist two options for more detailed analysis and concept design.
Please note: If you are also interested in the railroad crossing changes at Sunnvyale Avenue, a separate survey will be released after August 24.
