What significant environmental concerns do you have regarding a specific project option? For each environmental concern, select the project options to which this concern relates.
Traffic volumes - OPTION 4
Traffic-related safety concerns - OPTION 4
Air quality impacts - OPTION 4
Transit ridership - OPTION 4
What other significant environmental issues would you like to see addressed in the Environmental Impact Report (EIR)?
I have traffic volume, traffic-related safety concerns, and air quality concerns with Option 4 because NOT opening a new Mary overcrossing to vehicles will increase traffic and decrease air quality on OTHER routes -- Wolfe, Fair Oaks, Mathilda, Lawrence, and 85.

My concern is that unless a Mary Overcrossing is built and unless it is opened to motor vehicles, all the other available North-South routes will go from bad to worse. Other areas of Sunnyvale and other residents are already suffering because of a few residents that have blocked a needed improvement. Sunnyvale has opened up the area north of 237 to development and a Mary overcrossing is necessary to accommodate that growth.
Can you suggest other reasonable alternatives that would also achieve the project goals and avoid these impacts?
There could be some relief by improving the flow of Lawrence and Mathilda by eliminating signalized intersections through alternate designs.
What mitigation measures would minimize these impacts?
Build the overcrossing!

Air qualify along Lawrence, Wolfe, Fair Oaks, and Mathilda is currently degraded because of the congestion on those streets caused by the lack of a Mary overcrossing
