What are your concerns (if any), about the City regulating or not regulating businesses that sell firearms?
The myth of the Second Amendment is that "all weapons are okay by the NRA". And that is a myth. The 2nd Amendment refers "arms", and was meant in the context of muskets! We have come a long way in the development of Arms That Can Kill, and it is incumbent on local communities to regulate what they want and don't want sold in their community. Of course, a citizen could drive 10 minutes and buy in a less-regulated community to Guarantee Their Second Amendment Right (!) -- but that doesn't dictate what San Carlos could AND SHOULD do.

What are your concerns (if any), about the City regulating or not regulating businesses that sell firearms?
Protecting the public is the primary goal of the City. It should do everything possible to regulate firearms to reduce the dangers to the public and maintain safety for all. This is why the City is responsible for the police and fire departments as well as traffic and building safety. Firearms are dangerous, the City should regulate businesses that sell firearms as much as they regulate businesses that sell alcohol and cannabis.
