Share your ideas on how to improve bicycling and walking in the city!
The City is updating the Bicycle Transportation Plan and transforming it into an Active Transportation Plan to include both bicycling and walking needs. The last major update of the City's bicycle policies was in 2013 and this update is an opportunity to include new innovations in bikeway facilities for all ability levels. This effort will also launch the City's first comprehensive document on pedestrian policies and identify ways to increase walking for transportation in the City.
Over the last two years, the City has conducted public outreach including a public workshop, pop-up events in the community as well as a survey and online mapping tool where community members weighed in on routes they liked to bike and walk, barriers to doing so, and ideas for new route improvements.
