California voters approved Proposition 64 in 2016, which legalized adult-use cannabis in the State. The City of Mountain View is studying updates to the City Code to permit commercial cannabis activity. Specifically, City Council is interested in allowing and regulating retail uses. Currently, both medicinal and adult-use commercial cannabis activities are illegal in Mountain View.
