How important is it that Scott County achieves these goals by 2040 (1=not important, 5=very important)?

Do you have any additional feedback? We'd love to hear your thoughts!
Finding affordable housing in Scott County is becoming increasingly difficult. Now that the county has a treatment court program, perhaps the next step should be to encourage more sober living environments to support participants and the general public. Scott County currently only has one sober house available for women. With the increasing epidemic of drug use in the area it would benefit the area to incorporate more resources dedicated to the rehabilitation and reintegration of the affected population.

We need more rental housing including low income & senior. We relocated here from out of state 3 years ago. It was very challenging to find any rental housing. Statistically, Scott Co. vacancy rate is 1.2 percent, which is very low. Demographically, almost 75 percent of Scott County's population is age 55-64. As this group continues to age, more one level &/or Senior housing will be needed.

Could we please expand 169 one lane in each direction, from 13 to 494? There are so few options of crossing the MN River from the Savage/Prior Lake area.

We support the expansion & connectivity of the trails & County. Our family uses the trails & parks extensively throughout the year. The enjoyment of the parks near the lakes is why we chose to move to this area & it is what makes our area unique & above the grade.

As a newcomer to the South of the MN River area, I would like to see a full-service Comm. College come to our county. Ideally, it would have a focus on Health Care & related fields as well as Industrial & Mechanics Courses. A Comm. College would compliment the continuity of education bridging High Schools as well as keeping our kids local & reducing their overall costs of a secondary education.

need more options north east. 169 is congested every morning and the next option is 13 to 35W. Any way to get another option? Extend 100 south? I am assuming this is cost prohibitive.

There needs to be more planned community housing available for elderly residents on limited budgets, especially in Western Scott county. Dakota county has a wealth of apartment options, but distance is a factor, and not everyone can conform to apartment living. Townhomes or patio homes with plenty of outdoor space for walking would be ideal.
