The City of San Leandro is developing an open data policy to guide the publication of City data online. We are seeking community input on this policy and request your feedback on what datasets we should focus on.

We have just extended the deadline to August 18 at 11:59PM PST!

Please take five minutes to let us know about the data you are interested in seeing the City publish!

The City of San Leandro will be conducting two community meetings in late October on the General Plan Update. The same presentation and meeting format will be used for both meetings, but having more than one meeting allows more opportunity for the public to attend one of them. The focus of the meetings will be to receive public input on the future vision for the City over the next 20 years with the primary focus on non-housing issues such as land use (e.g., commercial, industrial, retail), transportation/streets and open space. If you can't make it to the meeting you can comment online. Details of the two meetings are below:

General Plan Update Community Meeting #1

  • Thursday, October 23
  • Senior Community Center, 13909 East 14th Street
  • 6 pm to 8 pm

General Plan Update Community Meeting #2

  • Tuesday, October 28
  • Marina Community Center, 15301 Wicks Blvd
  • 6 pm to 8 pm

You can keep up with the General Plan Update planning process at the project website:  Also, you can visit Virtual City Hall to respond to current questions for the General Plan Update and on the future growth of the City. We hope you will be able to join us on October 23 or October 28 to provide your feedback on enhancing the City’s future.
