Do you have any additional input or suggestions that you would like the City of Walnut Creek to consider regarding bikesharing in our community?
The only problem I personally have had with the bikeshare is the two times that bikes were left on my street and on my corner and they were there for a long time. The one bike was there for 3 days before I even called bikeshare about it, and it took them another 3 days to respond - and, the other bike was on Walnut Avenue in the lot in front of the church at Warwick Ave and it was there for at least 3 weeks. I don't want to see bikes laying around the neighborhood.

Please bring e-bikes to Walnut Creek. The suburban layout of our town, combined with the safety of the bike/ped trails, would be a perfect fit for the benefits of e-bikes. Scooters may work for more urban areas and younger demographics, but e-bikes are great for: longer distances, hills, less physically-fit riders, and avoiding sweating through fancy work clothing, among other things.

I love that Walnut Creek is exploring options for people to get away from vehicles. I see many motorists running red lights, parking and driving in bike lanes, parked illegally, blocking intersections, etc. I'd rather walk around an inconveniently located bike than a car stopped in the middle of an intersection. I'd rather see a brightly colored bikeshare bike than a car running a red light. Bikeshare is new, so it takes some time to get used to, but let's also put into perspective how prolific cars are in our town and how costly and dangerous those are.

I prefer scooters, not bikes. They take up less space and require lower maintenance. The bikes are usually poorly maintained and I reported some safety issues to Lime. They have always been very responsive and quick to resolve the issues. In addition, the bikes are too heavy. It takes less effort to walk to my destination than to bike because there are too many hills and variations of elevations in Walnut Creek. An electric scooter is more beneficial for residents in Walnut Creek.

I'm in full support of dockless scooters. I do not find them to be visually displeasing and I have rarely encountered scooters parked in ways that block access to the sidewalk.

The bikes aren't well-maintained, Too many bikeshare users ride without helmets, The brightly-colored bikes are unattractive to look at, Bicycles are often parked poorly, blocking sidewalks, curb ramps or bus stops, Other - They just add to the congested streets already, when you are finally done looking for cars to pull out, out comes a pedestrian, then a bike, and by then another car. It just creates more traffic.

I dont like the way they make the city look. I dont like the added congestion. I dont like they are parked everywhere. It takes away from the feel of walnut creek that i have always known and love.
