We need to consider infrastructure, water availabilty,to any new housing . Therefore we need to reconsider over building.

Sadly, we have had a big uptick in burglary, mail and auto theft etc... When we invite a population who are are supported by "Section 8 population, more crimes are committed.

Affordable? What's affordable to some is not affordable to many, especially seniors & disabled who are on fixed incomes. They can't afford to rent a room.

I’m a teacher at a school in Walnut Creek. Even though I have been teaching for almost 15 years, it is impossible to live in Walnut Creek without spending my entire paycheck on rent.

We have so many un-married teachers in Walnut Creek who are all living with their parents because it is too expensive to live where we work.

Poor people have to live somewhere but Walnut Creek is not where poor people live. Rich people live here.

"Affordable housing" should include single family homes that people making between 80k - 100k can afford to buy, but it doesn't

Rentals are far too costly and most facilities lack adequate parking options for residents.

The community still needs to plan ahead for when the incentives that were used to build affordable housing expire. We've already seen this happen in the past few years across the Bay Area.

If housing was more stable, our school populations would stabilize. Most of the categories in the section should be of concern to anyone regarding a population density increase and not just because of subsidized affordable housing.

Demand will continue to outweigh supply for many years. The East Bay/Walnut Creek is very attractive for a lot of lifestyle and family reasons.The city planners should take a look at nearby communities to see how they have already been impacted even further outside of the Bay Area Core. $2k-$2,5k is too much for a one bedroom rental.
