The City of Vallejo Community and Economic Development Department, Planning Division is seeking your feedback on proposed revisions to the Zoning Ordinance addressing new State requirements for Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs), commonly called "granny flats" or "in-lawflats".

The Vallejo Houing Authority (VHA) is seeking commments on its Annual PHA Plan related to its administration of the Housing Choice Voucher Program prior to a public hearing to be held on March 28, 2017. The Plan is in a format required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Developement and is streamlined because the VHA does not own or administer any public housing units.

Dear community member - There are 5 days left to comment on the direction of our City as part of the City's General Plan Update. Your responses will inform the Draft Preferred Growth Scenario reviewed by the Planning Commission, Economic Vitality Commission and General Plan Working Group on November 23.

The broad range of ideas generated through that process was distilled into three distinct Future Scenarios, each of which describes a different way that Vallejo could evolve over the next 25 years. The Greater Vallejo Recreation District (GVRD) has received many requests to create another dog park in Vallejo. GVRD is considering the possibility of converting an underutilized ball diamond into a dog park at Terrace Park, located at 415 Daniels Avenue.

Vallejoans began drafting Guiding Principles to describe shared values and define the kind of community where they want to live, work and play. The following principles were written and revised by workshop participants. How would you prioritize these statements? What would you add to the list?
Drag the arrow icon up or down to reflect how you would prioritize the Guiding Principles. The top priority should be at the top of your list with your lowest priority at the bottom of the list. Tell us more about your hopes and priorities for Vallejo’s future. Create your own Guiding Principle to add to future lists.
Stay tuned, City staff will update the priority list again to reflect what was heard at workshop #4.
Residents will now have until April 14, 2014 to post or edit priority lists and comment.
