The City spent months evaluating all City administrative fees to develop and recommend a new fee schedule for City Council consideration. The City focused on three goals during the draft process: simplicity, ensuring code compliance and life safety, and encouraging growth with competitive fees.
With the assistance of MGT Consulting Group, the City assessed comparable cities, calculated detailed staff costs and time estimates to ensure fees reflected actual costs, identified permits that could be subsidized to encourage compliance and safety, and eliminated or combined redundant or confusing fees.

All comments and questions will be aggregated and addressed when the fee schedule is presented to City Council for consideration of adoption.
