The City estimates that it will receive $979,322 in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program funds ($50,000 of which is projected program income), and $601,273 in HOME Investment Partnerships Program funds ($200,000 of which is projected program income), in Fiscal Year (FY) 2017-18.
Staff and a Housing and Community Development Commission (HCDC) Ad Hoc Committee recommend the following FY 2017-18 funding allocations:

Public Improvements ($75,000)
Social Services ($149,898)
HOME Program Funding:
Housing Development ($90,255)
Permanent Supportive Housing ($450,891)
Program Administration ($60,127)
The Action Plan, required by HUD, is a one year plan used for applying available funding to the community development and affordable housing needs identified in the City’s Five Year Consolidated Plan.

On Thursday, May 4, 2017 at 7:00 p. m. the HCDC will hold a public hearing during its regular meeting in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 555 Santa Clara Street, Vallejo on the City’s Action Plan proposed for FY 2017-18, (July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2018).
